Who is me?

Born in Durham England 1970. Lived in Gateshead then moved to Chester-le-Street in 1976. Started going to church as a teenager. Got me into religion. Spent three years completing Theological training. Then did a BA (HONS) in Religion and Sociology. I studied at Westminster College, Oxford for my PGCE.

Spent best part of ten years as a secondary school teacher in a shitty school. Became head of year by the time I was 30. I was a customer service manager for a number of years. Then became a full time carer for my mother until her death December 2015.

Now a member of the British Humanist Association and a homo.

I write about stuff I love and I am passionate about. Religion, gays, photography, mental health and music.
